01 — The Beginning
From a Student Writer to the Newsroom
His journey in journalism began in 2005, while still a student, through Doorbin — the popular fun magazine of the national daily Samakal.
At Doorbin, Jibon wrote humorous and satirical articles as well as rhymes for nearly a year. His writing entertained readers while addressing social irregularities, corruption, public awareness, and issues of everyday life. His distinctive style made him one of the magazine’s regular and trusted contributors.
His work at Samakal extended to Entertainment, Sports, Education and other sections. He also contributed to Ajker Kagoj’s Fatafati, Amar Desh’s Vimrul, and several other newspaper magazines and supplements.
Over the years that path continued through leading national platforms including Kaler Kantho, Dhaka Post, Bangla Tribune and Citizen Journal (CZN24), spanning reporting, editing, features and on-camera hosting.
